Prince Olabamidele Fatai Tinuoso, the Principal of POFT foundation celebrates the Hundred days in office of Hon. Kike Delono’s led Ifo Local Government Administration by conducting free eye test and free eyeglasses to Ifo residents.
POFT is a foundation organised by a group of Likeminds in Ifo for the progress of Ifo Local Government through developmental projects for the benefit of Ifo people and it’s environs.
The event which witnessed a large turnout of Residents is the second phase of such.
It’s first phase was done 3 years ago and it’s third phase is underway.
The second phase which took place today had three optamologists present to conduct eye test for people present, recommend and present to them specified eyeglasses to correct their sights.
The program had mostly the elderly who showed appreciation through prayers and encomiums on The Council Boss, Hon. Kike Delano and Hon. Bamidele Tinuoso.
In an interview with Madam Esther Olabimpe, she showed her appreciation and stated that her children were just planning to take her for eye test because she couldn’t read her Bible any longer due to bad sights when one of her neighbours rushed home yesterday to inform her of this program to come up today.
This prompted her to be present at the Council Secretariat without knowing anyone or having influence and without paying any money was attended to and given eyeglasses free of charge.
She further stated that this would have cost her children #10,000.
She prayed for everyone that made it possible.
The group’s Coordinator, Asiwaju Waleola a.k.a Alaga Marun assured Residents that The third phase of the program will be coming up soon but may take place in Ifo
Constituency ll to allow people of Agbado, Akute, Ojodu, Okearo and environs enjoy the benefit as well.
