One of the foremost support groups in Nigeria recognized and by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for synergy and grassroots mobilization; BAT PROJECT’23 has pledged full backing to the re-election bid of Prince Dapo Abiodun and his running mate Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele and all the APC Assembly candidates across the 20 local government in Ogun State.
While addressing our correspondent, Prince Emmanuel Odunayo promised to deliver nothing less than 50,000 votes for the APC across the 20 local governments where the election shall take place on the 18th of March, 2023.
Our correspondent probed him further to know if BAT PROJECT’23 has any strategy in place to deliver the humongous figure quoted; Prince Emmanuel explained how BAT PROJECT’23 had appointed a minimum of 250 canvassers per local government (Spread across the wards and polling booths) since July 20th, 2022; whose responsibilities are to keep telling the people of their localities about the good works of the APC from Presidency down to state and local government levels.
Our first approach was for every local government to enumerate, the projects started and completed by the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration and our findings was super impressive.
We discovered that within three and half years of this administration, there is no local government in Ogun State where Mr. Governor has not completed a minimum of four different people-oriented projects which ranges from road construction/rehabilitation, school construction/rehabilitation, construction/rehabilitation of Primary health care centres etc.
After seeing the brilliant performance of Mr. Governor we decided to canvass for him alongside our principal; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and we are glad that we already have some few testimonies which abound from the recently concluded presidential election.
BAT PROJECT’23 visited Olounda/Ife Otito community comprising of two giant CDAs/CDCs last year December to canvass for all APC cnadidates from top-to-bottom, We were told by the community leaders that they already made up their mind that they can never cast their votes for the APC, after listening to their plights and haven given them assurances of a renewed hope, they promised to give APC a trial and for the first time ever, APC won with a very wide margin in that community and all the neighbouring settlements.
We have some polling booths around Imeko that naturally should pose threat to the APC’s figure, our grassroots team at Imeko also surmounted the challenges and won those booths convincingly for our dear party, also at Ilagbe polling unit in Odeda LG, BAT PROJECT’23 canvassers delivered first APC victory at that polling booth, so with feedbacks across the 20 LGAs in Ogun State, I want Mr. Governor to be rest assured that BAT PROJECT’23 has done the needful and he shall be returned elected for his 2nd term in office He said.
We have also displayed our unwavering loyalty to Mr. Governor by ensuring we participated in all his campaign train to all the 20 LGAs in Ogun state including the ongoing campaign round-off tour of Mr. Governor, He added.
In his closing remarks, Prince Emmanuel called on the good people of Ogun State to come out enmass on the 18th of March,2023 and re-elect the man who has completed the construction of longer kilometers of roads within 3 and half years than his predecessor was able to cover in 8 years, he urged Ogun to vote for the Governor who has built more low cost housing units than all his predecessors, he appealed futher to the people of Ogun state to vote for the man who built the first airport in Ogun State so that he can easily complete all the good works he had begun.
We shall not relent in reaching to various electorates through our door-door canvassers until the official campaign window closes, he pledged.
