On Monday, 22nd of Nov. 2021 the National Institute for FreshWater Fisheries Research (NIFFR) through the office of the executive chairman of Odeda Local Government Hon. Folasade Adeyemo flagged off an empowerment program in AquaCulture Value Chain.
In attendance were participants/beneficiaries from different states across the country and Odeda Youths/Women also partook in the training with the influence of Odeda LG boss, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo.
The gesture of the chairman further reassures all the people of Odeda LG that a new dawn has finally come as this program will reduce the unemployment rate in Odeda LG.
In another development, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo had earlier on sent two people from Odeda Local Government to partake in similar training; facilitated by Hon. James Faleke, MHR Ikeja constituency, at Lagos.
This has proven once again that Hon. Folasade has come to institutionalize productivity in Odeda LG as she has empowered youth and women more than six(6) times since she assumed office as the Executive Chairman of Odeda LG about a hundred and fifteen (115) days ago.
The NIFFR empowerment program was facilitated by Hon. James Abiodun Faleke representing Ikeja Federal constituency.
The training runs between Monday, November 22nd and Wednesday, November 24th, 2021 somewhere in Odeda LG, and every participant was issued a certificate of training completion and cash grants as startup capital.
Among the top dignitaries who registered their presence at the flag off event of the training exercise on Monday, November 22nd, 2021 were; HRH, Olu of Owode Egba, Oba Dr. Adeyemi Adekeye, Oba of Ijaga Orile, HRH Kolawole Sowemimo, the Chairman, NIFFR Governing Board, Chief Mutiu Lawal Are and the host local government Chairman, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo, her Vice, Hon. Yaya Adigun, leader of the House, Hon. Rotimi Adeyemi and all the councilors in Odeda LG.
The executive chairman of Odeda LG, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo has once again demonstrated that she meant well for the people of Odeda LG by ensuring that she seizes every opportunity to make life better for all and sundry in Odeda LG.
