A Political group under the All Progressives Congress in Ifo Constituency 1, the OLUOMO SOLIDARITY FORUM (OSF) has unveiled the Immediate Past Provost of Sikiru Adetona College of Education (SACOED), Omu-Ajose, Dr. Adeola Lukmon Kiadese, as its sole nominee for the Assembly’s seat , come 2027.
Speaking today, at its general meeting , Convener of the Group, Rt Hon.(Prince) Olakunle Taiwo Oluomo, noted that it was the unanimous decision of members to zone the position to the rural part of the Constituency, in a bid to ensure fairness and balance within the group.
The meeting which attracted thousands of members from the 5 wards of the Constituency, afforded Rt Hon Oluomo the opportunity of giving feedbacks of his stewardship in the state Assembly since he became member of the hallowed chambers.
“I want to appreciate everyone of you for standing by me , through thick and thin. I am very grateful” He said
Oluomo further said “As a political group, we need to present our nominee for the Assembly’s seat and this time it is best for us to zone it to the rural areas. We have therefore concluded that Dr Kiadese is the best hand to continue the job”
Other speakers at the meeting which included representatives of each ward , Hausa community, women and youths.
Responding , Dr. Adeola Kiadese , physically filled with emotions appreciated the group for the trust reposed in him, assuring that the development of Ifo shall be his major priority.
Dr Kiadese is a former elected Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of Ifo Local Government Council before serving two terms as Provost of Sikiru Adetona College of Education.
With his impressive academic and political antecedents, Dr Kiadese would have to partake in the party primaries to emerge as the candidate, in due course.
