The Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Chief Dr. Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, in the early hours of Saturday, July 12, 2025, exercised her franchise by casting her vote for her preferred candidates in the ongoing Lagos State Local Government Elections at polling Unit 047, Ward F, Alausa, Ikeja Lagos, which is equally the polling unit of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
Folasade Tinubu-Ojo described the electoral process as hitch-free, and she urged all other electorates to remain civil in their conduct, ensure they cast their votes bearing in mind the electoral guidelines, and stand by their votes until it is counted and the poll results; announced.
She further congratulated LASIEC for the peaceful conduct of the local government election across the state.
On a final note, Iyaloja-General advocated for more women’s involvement and inclusion; both at the national and subnational levels, because they are the bedrock of every democratic government.
