Folasade Tinubu-Ojo highlighted the high risk of cholera outbreaks in every society with a high rate of sanitization indsicipline.
She urged all the Market leaders in attendance to go back to their respective markets and conduct proper sanitation exercises; clearing their drainage for free flow of sewage and to avoid water clogging in the drainage systems around each Market.
According to the Iyaloja-General, it is easier to prevent the outbreak of Cholera than to start running helter-skelter for its treatment. She reemphasized that Lagos State, as the centre of excellence should not be named among the states that is infected by the deadly disease due to anyone’s carelessness, and she promised that the Market Council shall work with relevant agencies to keep all Nigeria markets clean and safe for all.
