BAT project’23 ( Bola Ahmed Tinubu Project 2023) had in its congress meeting held on Sunday, ,9th May, 2023 where Hon. Hassan Ali Makinta was appointed as her new National Coordinator making him, the third National Coordinator, and the popular choice of the people to lead this prestigious political organization.
This decision was not unconnected with gross financial mismanagement, extortion of members, arrogance, lack of regard to rule of law, as well as dubiousness and a petty shady character glaringly displayed by Umar Yakubu Yunusa, the impeached National Coordinator.
This critical decision was unanimously made in the Congress meeting in conjunction with their diasporan members to sanctify the organization and restore its reputation. The Congress appealed to its members to be calm, as, a bold step had been taken to retrieve all the money and resources embezzled by the former National Coordinator, as well as the properties in his possession which include eight blank signed cheques, and some other documents.

While delivering his acceptance speech, the new National Coordinator, Hon. Hassan Ali Makinta, expressed his boundless gratitude for the confidence reposed on him by the members of the Congress and therefore, unswervingly resolved to honor the trust.
He further stated that, he accepted the appointment with a full and grateful heart and with only one obligation: to devote every effort of the body, mind and spirit to lead the organization to victory and greatness.

Similarly, he extended his deepest respect and appreciation to all the leaders starting from his Deputy Olori Oyetunde Adeola Esther, his cabinet members, and the entire members of this noble organization for their unalloyed supports. He sternly pledged to tenaciously pilot the affairs of the organization for the benefits of all and sundry.
Hon. Makinta, strongly, called on our Principal, His Excellency, Dr. Bola Ahmad Tinubu, to be rest assured, and have no fear that, the country is solidly behind him. In his candid words, he revealed that, Bat project’23 cuts across all the 36 States of the federation and the FCT. It also, has branches in diasporas such as USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia,Dubai, and the United Kingdom who are relentlessly canvassing supports for His Excellency, Dr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory as the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria comes 2023.
He finally, solicits the members for their maximum co-operations, smart advice, unflinching supports, as well as constructive criticisms in their voyage to the promise land.
