It has been a very eventful week in Odeda Local Government Area as the Executive Chairman of Odeda Local government, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo began her administration on a very pleasant note.
On Monday, 16th of August 2021, The 8th legislative Council of Odeda Local Government was inaugurated in the presence of the Apex leaders of Odeda local government and in accordance with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Folasade also featured on a live program at Family Radio 88.5Fm in the course of the week, where The Roles of Council Chairmen was the topic discussed. She addressed critical issues ranging from Security, accessible roads for rural settlers, quality educational system for all, Youth and women empowerment, accessible health facilities, good governance and so on.
At the latter part of the week, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo and her Vice Hon. Yaya Adigun took a tour round a majority of the public facilities listed below in no particular order:

Opeji Primary Health Care
Bakatari Primary Health Care
Osiele Primary Health Care (Newly Renovated By Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR)
Osiele Market Stalls
Obantoko Marriage Registry, Gbonagun
Odo-Eran Abbatoir, Obantoko
Obantoko Health Centre
Bode-Olude Health Centre
Bode-Olude Shopping Complex
Newly Renovated Police Station, Eleso Village in Bakatari Area
Ayaa Primary Health Care Centre
The purpose of the tour was to assess and re-evaluate both the physical and operational conditions of the public facilities in order to fix each of the challenges identified for the benefit of the great people of Odeda Local Government.
In the same vein, various stakeholders paid a courtesy and working visit to Odeda local government secretariat in a bid to contribute their quotas. Among the numerous groups who paid a visit to the council headquarters are, Great Minds International Organizations, Society for Family Health, The Progressive Teachers Forum and the Federal Road Safety Corps representatives.
Odeda Local Government Area is obviously in safe hands, Folasade is fulfilling her campaign promises one after the other.
