On Thursday, September 17, 2026, the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria and JAKADIYAR KASAR HAUSA, Chief Dr. Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, paid a visit to her beloved father, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, in France for a strategic engagement following her participation in the Hausa International Day Commemoration organised by the Hausa community in Paris, France.
As the JAKADIYAR KASAR HAUSA, the Iyaloja-General was invited to grace the historic occasion, which celebrated the preservation, promotion and global appreciation of Hausa cultural heritage beyond the borders of Nigeria.
Following her recent series of engagements across Nigeria and in the Diaspora, Chief Dr. Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo used the opportunity of the President’s visit to France to brief him on her various engagements, initiatives and interactions with communities and stakeholders across the country and abroad.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for a father-to-daughter tête-à-tête on matters concerning the current situation in Nigeria, particularly the need to strengthen grassroots engagement and develop fresh programmes, economic opportunities and empowerment initiatives capable of reaching more Nigerians at the grassroots.
The Iyaloja-General further reaffirmed her commitment to using The Iyaloja-General Movement (IGM) as a platform for grassroots mobilisation and advocacy, particularly in communicating the policies and programmes of the administration to traders, market women, youths and other grassroots stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Following the meeting, the JAKADIYAR KASAR HAUSA reassured Nigerians of her continued confidence in the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration and its commitment to building a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria and restoring the nation’s position as a true pride of Africa.
She also reaffirmed her dedication to continued grassroots engagement, empowerment and community-focused initiatives in support of national development.
